Description

kali-community-wallpapers is a transitional package designed to install kali-wallpapers-community, which contains wallpapers created and submitted by the Kali Linux community. These wallpapers showcase Kali Linux and enhance the desktop experience.

The package has been renamed from kali-community-wallpapers to kali-wallpapers-community and is now part of the kali-wallpapers source package. This ensures users upgrading or installing receive the updated community wallpapers package.

Once kali-wallpapers-community is installed, the transitional kali-community-wallpapers dummy package can be safely removed from the system.

How It Works

This is a transitional dummy package that depends on kali-wallpapers-community. Upon installation via apt, it automatically pulls in and installs the kali-wallpapers-community package containing the community-generated wallpaper files. The package itself has minimal size and serves only as a compatibility bridge for systems expecting the old name.
